Military and Civilian Internees held in Malta between 1914 and 1921.

A significant number of PoWs were identified in Appendix 7 to the MSC book 'Malta in World War 1 - A Postal History', using The National Archives, Kew as the main primary source.
Since publication in 2013, new information has emerged from various other primary sources, including the International Red Cross (ICRC), Malta National Archives,
Danish National Archives and the Red Crescent Archives. This has been combined with Appendix 7 and enhanced with additional images of PoWs and their correspondence.

Updated information on individual Internees has been organised into various sub-groups, according to status (civil/military) and nationality.
